WAR AND PEACE MEDALS

European commemorative medals 20th century WW1 & Later

Austria, Belgium, Britain, France, Germany etc.

The themes of the following historical medals are war and peace as propaganda, satire, heroism, tragedy and and the triumph of hope, generosity and resolve. They merit study so that we don't repeat the mistakes of the past. The list is haphazard in the way they have arrived in our trays and so that we can find them. Medals previously offered but unsold can be found by clicking on the links to next page.

Updated April 2011 (note that there are only thumbnail pictures)

Please note that medals are offered subject to being unsold. Also the medals are not shown actual size - take note of the measurement.

Medals are made of bronze, struck and of date contemporary with original design, unless described otherwise. Please see our terms and conditions of sale for buying notes.
