126 CARPENTERS COMPANY, Carpenters' arms; reverse wreath engraved Presented by the Carpenters Company Sanitary Examination Alfred Carter 1896 silver medal 48mm boxed with a scroll mount and a triangular suspender £75 Note this is the same medal that was used as a Livery badge
127 - Silver prize medal, similar to the above engraved Presented by the Carpenters Company Kings College J R P Rowley July 1900, thin flan, 48mm. maker AP £65
128 - Bronze prize medal similar to the above engraved Presented by the Carpenters Company Trades Training School J Hartnoll 1902 Bronze 48mm in box £40
129 - Bronze prize medal, In 1902-3 new dies were prepared, these had the Company arms and on the reverse in a wreath the inscription Presented by the Worshipful Company of Carpenters to. These specifically prize award medals are a larger size than the earlier medals above. Engraved B Henbest Trades Training School 1903, 54mm. £40
130 - Silver prize medal, similar to above; awarded George H Rivers Trades Training School 1934-35 maker T&Co 54mm. boxed £50
131 CUTLERS COMPANY an un-issued silver medal (this design was used as a prize and for other presentation purposes). Arms of the Company with elephant supporters - reverse has the City arms with an area for inscription and a tressure-like design at the edge. 52mm. £60

PROPERTY MARKS

These cast iron signs or marks used to indicate the ownership of a property by one of the London Guilds. These examples are 18th or 19th century in date and bear the simpler form of the coat of arms.
