These medals are the products of various mints: French Monnaie de Paris and Israel Mint products,Medallic Art Co. New York, Leningrad Mint plus a few older pieces and Royal Mint issues. They are mainly as issued but secondhand - we've indicated the grade where it is otherwise than extremely fine. This is part of our accumulation of such medals; they are an inexpensive way of owning some very interesting portraits and interpretations of the work of famous artists, scientists and politicians. I've also added some puzzles - people who were honoured while alive but now unknown... Click on underlined text for larger version and page back to return to this page.
