J-C Chaplain, Universite de Paris 1215-1895 personification of the university with female and male student to either side; reverse heraldic device of Paris, a sailing boat - 65mm. EF £45
Bottee, Societe des Architectes diplomes par le Gouvernement prize medal of 1896 by Bottee; awarded to M. Charles-Brun 21 novembre 1934. Guillaume Dupre, Salut au soleil in silver. A very popular medal when issued in uncertain times, with its theme of unchanging nature but we do not usually see examples now in silver. 80x64mm EF attractive patina. £85
Rivet: Soc. Francaises des Chrysanthemistes; Japanese woman in her kimono tending Chrysanthemum flowers, the reverse usual traditional laurels and winged female Victory. Gilt silver. 45mm. pretty, VF £45
Daniel Dupuis, Horticulture, 1892, awarded 'offert par la Ville de Villars d/Mer' 49x61mm plaquette, gilt silver about EF £55.
Dautel: Esperance (Hope) 1904. Mother and child; reverse a spring - engraved Claude Collinet - a good example of the new style of medal being used as an award. Struck bronze 54mm VF £35

L Muller, Canoe - Sport - this prize medal should really be in the Art Deco section like the following medal by Muller, but shows effectively how different in style Deco is from Nouveau and that of the fin de siecle. 1940 51x53mm. bronze sold
